Inglewood Golf Club's History

The beautiful Inglewood Golf Course opened over 100 years ago in 1919 and quickly became one of the best in the Pacific Northwest. In 1926, the majestic clubhouse was completed. The building recently underwent renovations to enhance its French Provincial stylings and update many of its most popular features. The renovations were extensive and included many state-of-the-art upgrades.

Inglewood Golf Club has hosted many of the most prestigious events in the golfing world. This includes many PGA and LPGA events, as well as many invitationals and opens. The Club's rich history and traditions allow it to stand out among other courses in the area. The fact that the course is surrounded by all the natural beauty the Pacific Northwest has to offer is just icing on the wedding cake.

Weddings and Events at Inglewood Golf Club

As a private club, only the members have access to the clubhouse and golf course. Membership is by invitation only and ensures that if you choose to have an Inglewood Golf Club wedding, you will not have to worry about any unexpected surprises. You will have access to the Grand Ballroom and Veranda for your wedding ceremony and reception. For a seated event, you can have up to 300 guests. If you plan on having a cocktail reception, you can invite up to 450 of your closest friends and family members.

Opening the Veranda doors gives you full access to the patio. The Fountain Lawn is also close by. The scenic grounds and view of Lake Washington offer more than enough opportunities for exquisite wedding photos. As your Seattle wedding photographer, I recommend meeting at the Golf Club at least once so we can choose a few select locations for your wedding portraits. While much of what I do is more candid and natural, it is a good idea to have a plan in place for other types of photos as well.
