We're Kalie and Devon. We like people more than we like cameras.

A smiling couple poses outdoors in autumn, man in plaid shirt and cap, woman in floral dress, embracing warmly.

I'm Kalie, and I'm the lead photographer around here. Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember — my grandfather had his own darkroom, and I grew up understanding that a photograph isn't just an image. It's proof that a moment happened. That it mattered.

When I became a mom in 2013, that understanding hit differently. Suddenly I wasn't just taking photos — I was holding onto time that was moving way too fast. That's when my casual hobby became full-blown calling.

Intimate outdoor portraits among trees and ferns during golden hour lighting.

We quickly became so busy that I needed help! My husband Devon joined me behind the lens, and over the past decade we've turned this into something we're genuinely proud of — five-star reviews from people who felt seen, comfortable, and honestly a little surprised by how much fun they had.

For me, photography isn’t just about images—it’s about heart, memory, and the gift of holding onto a moment forever.

Here's what I think makes us different: I care about *you*, not just your photos. I want to know what makes you nervous, what makes you laugh until you snort, what moments matter most to you. Because when you feel safe and known, the photos take care of themselves.

We're not the photographers who bark poses at you from behind a camera. We're the ones cracking jokes, hyping you up, and probably (most definitely) tearing up during your vows.

A Little Q&A About Us...

Kalie

Biggest source of joy? My family and especially watching us grow and change over time into the people we WANT to be.

Favorite food? Anything Devon makes (seriously, try his sourdough)! I burn Mac n' Cheese so I am forever thankful to have found a partner that shows me love through tasty food.

Who is your hero? Ooooh, this is a hard one. I am lucky to have so many incredible people in my life, but if I have to choose I would say my Grandma. She has encountered so much loss and hate in her lifetime and has always responded in the kindest way possible.

Biggest fear? Time, it's forever fleeting and moving too quickly.

Favorite activity? Yoga, hiking and getting quality time with the people I love.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Right here. I hope we never move again.

Favorite movie? I'd have to ask Devon since he is the movie guru and I often rewatch movies as if I am seeing them for the first time, but have you seen Finding Neverland. Oooh that's a good one.

Devon

Biggest source of joy? Sharing my food. I love feeding people.

Favorite food? Ummm, this is really hard. French Onion Soup, no wait, Teriyaki.

Who is your hero? Our son, Henley. They're not afraid to dance. I both love and envy that.

Biggest fear? Disappointing my family.

Favorite activity? Cooking and trying other people's food. A food tasting!!

If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Right here!

Favorite movie? Gladiator, without a doubt, but I love all the movies, the good ones but especially the really bad ones.
