But what we've found shooting here over the past decade is that Redmond is quietly one of the most family-oriented cities on the Eastside. The parks are incredible. The trails go on forever. And the people who live here genuinely love it — which makes for really, really good photos.

We're Kalie and Devon, the team behind Filling the Frame Photography. We're based in Bothell, just a short drive north of Redmond, and we've been photographing people in this area for over 10 years. We know the light at Marymoor at 6pm in July. We know which trails at the Watershed look best in fall. Redmond has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to photo locations:

- **Marymoor Park** — Over 600 acres of open fields, river paths, and that iconic windmill. It's one of our most-requested locations, and for good reason. The variety here is unmatched — you can get five completely different looks in a single session.

- **Redmond Town Center** — For something more urban. The architecture, textures, and walkways give senior portraits and couple sessions a modern, editorial edge.

- **Farrel-McWhirter Farm Park** — Animals, red barns, split-rail fences, and open pastures. Kids absolutely light up here, which makes our job easy.

- **Idylwood Park** — A quiet lakeside park with a gentle shoreline and beautiful tree cover. It's intimate and peaceful — perfect for maternity and couple sessions.

- **Redmond Watershed Preserve** — Dense forest, filtered light, and trails that feel like you've stepped into the Pacific Northwest postcard. This spot is stunning for fall and winter sessions.
